NCCI election and executive committee

The 9^th Annual Election of Nordic Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bangladesh (NCCI) was held on Monday, 21^st March 2019, as the tenure of the 8^th Executive Committee came to an end.

The Election Commission received 7 (seven) nominations for election to the 7 (seven) Member NCCI Executive Committee. As per Trade Organization Rules 1994, the 7 (seven) candidates were elected uncontested to the Executive Committee.

The following 7 (seven) members were elected uncontested to Executive Committee of Nordic Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bangladesh (NCCI) for the year 2019.

The official positions of NCCI Executive Committee Office Bearers, effective from 1st April, 2019 are:

• President: Tareq Rahman, Swedish Motors Ltd.
• Vice President: Tahrin Aman, Aman Spinning Mills Ltd.
• Secretary General: Ahmed Kabir, Arla Foods Bangladesh Ltd.
• Treasurer: Karl Erik Broten, Grameenphone Ltd.

The elected EC members who will be performing the duties as Directors in the Executive Committee are:

• Imtiaz Ilahi, Graphicpeople Ltd. 
• Basirun Nabi, Puls Trading Far East Ltd.
• Anand Shetty, Novo Nordisk
