Raihan Shamsi has joined as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GPIT, a subsidiary company of Grameenphone Ltd from 1st of May 2012. Mr. Shamsi will replace Mr. Peter A. Dindial, who would move to a new position in the Telenor Group.
Mr. Raihan Shamsi comes from the position of Deputy CEO and CFO of Grameenphone Ltd. and brings with him an extensive managerial, business and financial experience from Grameenphone and MNCs like Shell, Unilever and KPMG for over 14 years. He is a Chartered Accountant by profession.
