The Executive Committee of Nordic Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bangladesh (NCCI) met on 29th April 2012, at Nordic Club, Dhaka to elect the new Executive Committee for 2012/2013. Soren Kannik, Country Manager of A-Tex International, was appointed as the Secretary General. GPIT Chief Financial Officer Kjersti Thoen was appointed as the Treasurer. Mr. A Rajan Kumar, Managing Director of Novo Nordisk Pharma (Pvt) Ltd, was appointed as Executive Member.

The Nordic Chamber received only two nominations from members who are already a part of the Governing Body in 2012 general election. Therefore, the majority of the Executive Committee Members will continue to operate and manage the Chamber for a second term. Quazi M. Ahmed resigned from the post of Secretary General on 25th March 2012. NCCI would like to thank him for his contributions towards the development of the chamber.
